- Surface wear on exterior coatings due to exposure to weather, UV light, or car wash chemicals.
- Condensation impact, including mold or mildew resulting from improper ventilation.
Conditions:
- Warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
- Warranty is void if the product is modified, misused, or improperly installed.
- Regular Ventilation: Frequently air out the tent to prevent mold and mildew. Remove the mattress if the tent is unused for an extended period.
- Canvas Waterproofing: Re-spray the canvas regularly with a waterproofing product to maintain its water resistance. Increase frequency with intensive use or exposure to harsh weather.
- Cleaning:Use mild soap and water to clean the tent fabric; avoid harsh chemicals. Gently wipe down metal and plastic parts to remove dirt and prevent corrosion.
- Inspect Components: Check and tighten all bolts, nuts, and fittings periodically. Inspect the zippers, seams, and latches for wear and tear, and lubricate zippers as needed.
- Storage: Ensure the tent is completely dry before packing away to avoid mold. Store in a covered, well-ventilated space when not in use.
- Avoid Overloading: Do not exceed the weight capacity of the tent or your vehicle’s roof rack.
- Check Before Use: Always verify that the mounting brackets and straps are secure before travel.
