Refund & Return Policy

MW Toolbox Manufacturing VIC Pty Ltd (ABN: 41 623 476 406), trading under the name MW Toolbox, offers a 24-month warranty against manufacturing faults and defects in material and workmanship from the date of purchase. The purchase date can be found on digital receipts and physical invoices delivered with toolboxes.

MW Toolbox will maintain accurate transaction records.

Warranty Coverage

  • The warranty covers all structural and mechanical aspects of the item, excluding:
    • Locks
    • Gas struts
    • Hinges
    • Drawers and drawer runners, etc.

    These components are covered by a 12-month warranty.

  • The 24-month warranty applies to all levels of use (commercial, private, and trade) during the warranty period.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or negligence.
  • Damage from natural disasters or severe weather events.
  • Surface damage (such as scratches, rust, or other defects) that occurs over time.

    Important: Any defect found within 24 hours of receiving the toolbox must be reported immediately to MW Toolbox by phone at 1800 554 434 or email at warranty@toolboxcentre.com.au. If not reported within this time frame, the defect will be considered natural wear and tear.

Voiding the Warranty

  • Warranty becomes void if the product is used for an unintended purpose or altered in any way.
  • Unsatisfactory installation may also void the warranty.
  • Items given away in promotion periods will not be covered by warranty.
  • The warranty does not cover theft, attempted theft, or any damage resulting from such events.

Warranty Claims

  1. Reporting a Claim:
    • Any item subject to a warranty claim must be reported to MW Toolbox directly or via email at warranty@toolboxcentre.com.au.
    • Full details of the product fault and photo evidence will be required before the warranty is actioned.
  2. Resolution Process:
    • MW Toolbox will first attempt to fix the fault before offering a replacement.
    • If a replacement is not available, a refund will be issued.
  3. Return Freight:
    • All return freight costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
    • If the warranty claim is found to be illegitimate, all associated costs will be payable by the customer.

Returns Policy

  1. Return Process:
    • If a return is required, our customer service team will contact you to arrange collection of the item.
    • Change of mind returns will only be considered for pre-made standard products within 7 days from the date of purchase, provided the product remains unused and in restocking condition.
    • No return or refund will be accepted for custom-made products.
  2. Return Conditions:
    • Returns will not be accepted without prior consent.
    • The customer is required to pay return freight.
    • Initial freight costs from the purchase will not be refunded.
    • All returns are subject to a 20% handling fee.
  3. Packaging:
    • Customers must package the item adequately to avoid damage during transit. Any damage occurring during transport is not the responsibility of MW Toolbox.
  4. Liability:
    • MW Toolbox is not liable for any items lost during transport.
